Scars as any other physical defect of your body may have negative effect on your self-confidence and cause psychological difficulty of self-acceptance. Though complete scar eradication is not possible, surgical correction can help to achieve excellent results and a person can enjoy more attractive appearance.

What should you know about a scar correction?

Every person probably has a bigger or smaller scar. Some of them have occurred in our childhood, other remind us about certain traumas, surgeries or certain skin diseases. 

Neither car can be removed completely, however, some of them can be made invisible. This is a great achievement, especially talking about the scars located in the up-front areas, for instance on the face.

During the surgical car correction an old car is surgically completely removed and a new wound is sutured with precise accuracy. Surgical scar correction helps to flatten scar area and to form more even surface, to reduce visibility of the scar, to uniform a colour of the scar and the surrounding skin.

Post-surgical period and care

Usually, local anaesthesia is sufficient for and a surgery lasts up to one hour. On the next day after he surgery you will be able to return back to your everyday activities, however, following physician’s recommendations and depending on the location and the size of your scar you will have to avoid certain physical activities.
